Pictures from our Projects

This year we supported Brittany Enterkin in her effort to build a school in Cambodia.   We also collected shoes for Soles for Souls, an organization that sends shoes to people in need around the world.

This year we also continued our project in Triangle Park in Tyrone, GA.  We added trash receptacles, plants, and more benches to make the park more beautiful.

We also continued to support the GRSP Program.  This year, with the help of three other clubs, we sponsored Nikolai Bonev.  He was this year's recipient of the Thomas Peace Award.  Congrats Nikolai!  We are so proud of you!

We were also proud to participate at the dedication of the Polio Exhibit in Warm Springs.  Our club has been committed to the cause and continue to look forward to a polio free world.

We have also continued our support of the Tyrone Library.  Pictured is Julie Digby, the Head Librarian and our member Larry Lake makeing a special presentation.  We are looking forward to the new Library's opening in 2008!

We also continued our KidCare ID project this year.  At Tyrone's Founder's Day, we did ID Packets for over 100 children.  We plan to sponsor another KidCare ID event in the Spring.

We also routinely pick up trash along a 2 mile stretch of Senoia Road.  This picture is from our September clean-up.

We also have continued our Apples for Teachers Project.  Each year we give apples and calendars to local schools and teachers as a small token of our appreciation for their good service.  Thank you for all your hard work!

These are pictures of us at breakfast.  We have a lot of fun here, and we do a lot of good in the community.  We invite you to come and join us in our fun and in our good work.  We have lots more to do this year.  We will recognize our Firefighters, Police Officers, Municipal Workers, and local volunteers.  We have a golf tournament to raise money for charities.  We are working with the district to raise money for a Water Project in Ehiopia.  We are planning blood drives, beanie baby collections to send to our troops in Iraq to pass out to Iraqi children, cell phone drives that will bring in phone cards for our troops.  We have so much planned, and we would love to have your help!  Come join us!
