The Rotary Foundation
Keep Up the Momentum of a Good First Quarter!

Congratulations! The first quarter of the year is complete! Now is a great time to stop and check your goals – how much have you accomplished and what do you have to do to move forward.

District Grants: Thank you! As you know, all of the money was distributed to the clubs this year. Most of the checks have been deposited and several clubs have begun filing their receipts and reports. Keep up the good work. If your District Grant project has been completed, take a few moments to do the paperwork and avoid the rush!

Global Grants: You are doing a great job with Global Grants again this year! Two grants have already been approved, four more have been submitted to the Rotary Foundation and another eight are in development. You really are Making A Difference!

Coming Up

Foundation Month: November is Foundation month! Have you booked a Foundation speaker yet? Calendars are filling up fast. There are lots of aspects to the Rotary Foundation, and lots of folks on the Foundation team who would love to speak to your club about their specialty. Interested in …

  • Global Grants? Call Anne Glenn.
  • PolioPlus? Call PDG Bob Hagan or Bill Nordmark
  • Global Scholars? Call Kathy Brandt
  • 100% Paul Harris Fellow club program? Call Gerry Bilbro.
  • Not sure? Drop me an email or call and we can talk about the perfect speaker for your club.

World Polio Day: October 24 every year is World Polio Day. And every year Rotary International has an event and live streams it around the world. This year’s event is live from Washington state. We will be celebrating in our district in Roswell. Register and join the fun! Only $20 and $10 of that goes to PolioPlus. You have a fun evening with other Rotarians and make a donation towards the eradication of a deadly disease.
