Alpharetta Celebrates Holidays with Care Packages to Military

For 14 years the Rotary Club of Alpharetta has been purchasing, packaging and shipping goods to men and women serving our country. The club collects an assortment of everyday items like food staples, hygiene products, cookies and games.

This Holiday Season, the club is sending two sets of care packages. The first ships to Task Force Brawler at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. TF Brawler is comprised of Blackhawk, Chinook and Apache helicopters. The second set goes to the USS Preble a Farragut-class guided missile destroyer. The Preble is attached to the USS Roosevelt Carrier Strike Force.

Scott Doll, President of The Rotary Club of Alpharetta said, “The Rotary Club will never forget our men and women serving our country. Sending a Care Package is a great way to show our appreciation."
