Marietta Rotary Creates a Mexican Lunch at MUST Ministries

Master Chefs Harold Hobbs and his son Adam filled their shopping carts at Sam’s with Mexican food stuffs for he Rotary Club of Marietta's Valentine meal at MUST Ministries. Meanwhile, Jim Trapnell was laying out all the cooking and serving trays and utensils on the work tables in MUST’s kitchen for cooking the casseroles and holding the garden salad, mixed fruit and assorted breads. Marlys Williams , Lewis Lipsius and Dale Covington soon joined Harold, Adam and Jim in the Kitchen. Twelve hands made quick work of assembling Mexican Chicken Casseroles containing diced chicken breasts, yellow rice, cream of mushroom soup, Rotel tomatoes, Mex 4 cheeses and chicken broth. By 10:30 a.m. this cooking crew had all the components of the entire meal in stainless trays—cooking, cooling or simply waiting to be served. Doug Haynie and Dr. John Knox dished up this delicious, South of the Border meal to nearly 70 diners.
